Teaching is very important in developing the next generation of doctors. As such, The Tollgate Practice is a training practice and therefore on occasion you may be offered an appointment with a GP Registrar. A list of our current GPs and Registrars can be found on our Doctors page of our website, alongside their gender and any additional languages spoken.

We would be very grateful if our patients could help us in this vitally important work by spending time with our Registrars and students when requested.

You will be asked beforehand if you are happy to see one of our Registrars. If you are unhappy to do so, please inform the administration team who will offer you an appointment with an alternative clinician.

At times, we will have medical students who sit in with clinician consultations. However, if you wish to have your consultation in private, please mention this to the clinician or to the reception team.
